“A “trig” has been used for many years to establish boundary lines. Trigonometrical stations were set on the top of hills and used as surveying sites. Just as surveyors use trigs as a reference, so does New Zealand-born winemaker Nick Goldschmidt for choosing the best vineyard sites. The result? A superb, highly refined Alexander Valley Cabernet with beautiful purple and ruby hues. Aromas of dark spices, black currant, black tea, and coffee bean greet the nose, then blossom into juicy fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry and blackberry. The finish is smooth, soft, supple and spicy.
