Oregon heritage brand Raptor Ridge is based in the renowned Chehalem Mountains AVA, and is celebrating 20 years of pioneering and winemaking. Still under the careful control of husband and wife Annie and Scott Schull, Raptor Ridge’s was named one of the “Top 100 Wineries of the Year” by Wine & Spirits magazine, and it’s easy to see why with this nuanced, elegant Gruner. Made from hand harvested, estate-grown, and Certified Sustainable grapes, the wine is bright, clean, and citrus-driven with pronounced minerality and beautiful notes of Asian pear, tangerine, melon, and honeyed almonds. The palate is tense and energetic thanks to integrated acidity that lifts and lengthens the memorable finish. This versatile and food-friendly wine, one of the few Pacific Northwest Gruners, pairs beautifully with everything from spicy foods to shellfish.
