Founded in 1919 by Jules Desfriches, Le Père Jules is located in Pays d’Auge, the heart of the Normandy region. Out of 250 acres, 100 are planted with apple trees and 25 with pear trees. This family-run estate follows organic principles and uses only estate fruit in the production of their aromatic and elegant ciders. This offering is made with more than 20 different varieties of apples, and is wonderfully balanced. Lightly filtered, the cider is hazy amber in the glass and offers notes of dried apple, hay, light baking spices, vanilla, and a touch of white button mushroom. It’s gorgeous alongside holiday fare of any kind!
