Founded 20 years ago by husband and wife sommeliers-turned-winemakers, the Bonaccorsi Wine Company is inspired by the great wines of Burgundy and the Rhone. Since their first vintage in 1999, they continued to strive for improvements not only in winemaking techniques but improve the quality of the best vineyards in California’s central coast. This elegant Pinot Noir, made from grapes grown in the Santa Rita Hills region and aged for 14 months in neutral French oak, drinks far above its price point. Hints of toasty cedar accent ripe and dried cherries and black raspberries. Crisp and clean on the finish, with subtle notes of flint and stone, this is a great partner for grilled fish, poultry, duck burgers, and savory appetizers.
