Island Pops was born when husband and wife Khalid Hamid and Shelly Marshall returned to New York after vacationing in Trinidad with a homesick craving for ice cream and sorbet with the flavors of the Caribbean. Island Pops' soursop ice cream is made with fresh soursop (also known as guanabana) pulp from Grenada, making for a sweet and tangy flavor that's hard to put down.
