Julie and Graeme Bott met while working for the famed Cote-Rotie producer Stephane Ogier. Their shared passion for winemaking and the skills they learned together set the stage for their own venture. Working in the Northern Rhone Valley they have sites in some of the most prestigious appellations in the area. Choosing to produce only micro-volumes of wine, they focus on quality over quantity and aim to let their wines fully develop the charisterics of their incredible terroir. In fact the two young winemakers are fiercely passionate about preserving and honoring the storied terroir they call home and have been using only sustainable and organic farming practises since the very beginning. The First Flight Viognier is both expressive and delicate. Fresh fruit and lovely florals open softly leading to an elegant, steely mineral palate with notes of ripe apricot.
