Denis Reinhardt and Erik Wimmers, with their friends Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar and Dorothee Zilliken of VDP winery Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken, are the makers of Ferdinand's Saar Dry Vermouth. The large southern-facing slope of the Saarburger Rausch, with its rough Devonian shale soil and the cool climate form the perfect basis for this beautifully textured and fruit forward dry vermouth, the first in the world to be made with a base of Spatlese Riesling.
