Domaine du Nozay’s flagship cuvee shows impressive complexity. Winemaker Cyril de Benoist vinifies and ages each individual parcel separately (no matter how small) and blends only before the time of bottling, a painstaking regimen. The result is a wine with a broad, flinty mineral core that bristles with energy, a testament to the biodynamically grown grapes. It features notes of grapefruit, lime zest, musk melon, and the lightest touch of salty peach. Lovely.
