The Durrmann estate is family-owned and independent, totaling 10 hectares in the Alsace region. It is located in the town of Andlau, where grapes have been cultivated for more than a century. Certified organic since 1998, the best description of this estate’s philosophy is "agro-ecology", as they consider their farm as an ecosystem in which they try to find a balance between their various flora of vines, fruit trees, and grass for sheep. This orange pet nat, made from 50% Pinot Blanc, 25% Pinot Gris, 25% Riesling, all grown on mineral-rich schist, is medium bodied and opens with notes of tangerine, clementine and apricot. On the palate, the wine is tart and fresh, perfect for low-key celebrations, as an aperitif, or partner for a cheese plate.
