Fosse-Seche is a biodynamic producer in the Saumur region in Loire, France. It is hard to imagine, but wine has been produced on the estate since as far back as the 13th century. A blend of 95% Cabernet Franc (the Loire Valley's crown jewel of red varieties) and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is a serious bottle meant for reflection and enjoyment. Beautiful aromas jump out of the glass, a fireworks display of fresh dark fruits, dried flowers and damp earth. On the palate the wine is generous, yet graceful with gorgeous texture and tension.
