Founded in 1952 by a cooperative of winemakers, Cembra Cantina di Montagna is the highest winery in Trentino. The climate of the Valle di Cembra is influenced by the cold currents coming from the nearby alpine chains, cool mornings and evenings that make it a great location for growing Pinot Noir. This wine opens with delicate notes of wild cherries, pink flowers, and forest herbs. Ripe with bright acidity, the flavors are balanced with a lengthy, food-friendly finish. Pair with picnic fare, cheeses, charcuterie and grilled vegetables.
