The estate of the Barons Capoano lies on the hillsides above Cirò Marina, a small town in the province of Crotone and in the heart of the area where Cirò D.O.C. wines are produced. The estate extends over approximately 20 hectares facing the Ionian sea, among olive groves and vineyards that date back centuries. This hand-harvested Gaglioppo opens with soft aromas of plum flowers and berries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and dry, yet delicate, filled with ripe fruit, warm spice, and smooth, supple tannins. An excellent wine for first courses, red meat and mature cheeses.
